Job Shadowing II
A 5-day job shadowing activity is planned at a host organisation to learn creative and educational storytelling methods and models for cooperation with community institutions.
Group Mobility of Adult Learners
A 5-day training programme is planned at an organisation with experience in intergenerational work and the preservation of intangible cultural heritage. The programme will develop participants’ digital skills, inclusion and participation through story collection and digital presentation. Participants will compare Latvian approaches to preserving intangible cultural heritage with those of the host country and transfer relevant good practices to their own communities.
Results
As a result of the project, a new non-formal education programme will be developed. Staff will have learned methods for digital documentation and ethical practice, while seniors will have improved their digital documentation skills and social engagement. Our organisation will become a community methodological hub for digital intergenerational storytelling, and trained mentors will ensure the sustainability of storytelling activities in other communities in Latvia.
Type of activity: Mobility of adult learners and staff.
