Project Activities and Accomplishments
Development of Lesson Plans and Teaching Materials on Labels for Environmental Awareness Promotion
This activity involves developing an interdisciplinary set of lesson plans and teaching materials on eco-labels and social responsibility labels. Four lessons are planned (each 40 minutes):
Biology / Environmental Studies – Introduction to eco-labels and social responsibility labels, their significance for the environment and health, with simple practical examples.
Visual Art – Creative tasks (e.g., frottage, monotype) to create one’s own “labels” and visual symbols for sustainable consumption.
Animation I – Script development and storytelling about labels and greenwashing, using student-created art.
Animation II – Creating short animated films using free applications and a brief reflection on the knowledge gained.
Development of Educational Animation
The content for the educational animation (~5 min.) will be developed in close cooperation with environmental experts, who will consult on the relevance of the eco-label and greenwashing topics to the project’s learning objectives.
Digitization of Teaching Materials, Creation of Interactivity, and Publication
The developed teaching materials will be prepared in digital format and enhanced with interactive elements using H5P technology. A digital version of the lessons will be created on the AIMC association’s website, where the interactive lesson materials will be published.
Piloting of Lesson Plans and Teaching Materials
This activity involves testing the materials and teaching methods in real settings by implementing the lessons in 4 educational institutions under the guidance of content creators and local teachers, observing the lessons and student engagement, and in 1 institution where the lessons will be conducted independently.
Refinement of the Lesson Plans and Teaching Materials Set
The lesson plans and teaching materials set will be refined based on piloting results, through systematic analysis of student and teacher questionnaires or interviews, as well as lesson observations.
Dissemination and Publicity of Project Results
Activities for project publicity and result dissemination are planned (press releases, social networks, events, video report).
